Adjusting your screen resolution:
This site is best viewed in 1024 x 768 screen resolution. However pages within this site will work well on screen resolutions of
800 x 600 and above. If you are using a 640 x 480 resolution you
will still be able to see all of the elements on the page but the
top banner may not appear quite right and sometimes you may need
to scroll horizontally to see all of the information.
If you are interested in changing
your screen resolution then here are some instructions:
Windows users:
- Right-click with your mouse on your desktop or wallpaper.
- Choose 'Properties' from the menu that will appear.
- Select the 'Settings' tab.
- Within the 'Screen area' section of the window, drag the slider
to the right so that the text underneath it reflects the resolution
that you require.
- Click on 'Apply'.
- A box will pop up telling you that your settings will change
for 15 seconds, after which they will revert to the original value.
Click 'OK'.
- Your settings will change and a popup will launch, displaying
a countdown. If you are happy with the new settings click on 'OK'.
If you want to revert back then either do nothing or click on
'Cancel'.
- At the end of the process close the Screen Settings tab by clicking
'OK'.
Mac users:
- Click the Apple Icon found at the top left.
- Choose 'Control Panels' from the submenu.
- Select 'Monitors', the monitors window will open.
- Click on your desired resolution under the 'Resolution Heading'.
